"Martin Luthers Geistliche Lieder" by Martin Luther is a collection of spiritual songs published in multiple editions between 1529 and 1545. Printed by Joseph Klug in Wittenberg, these hymns often featured Luther's own musical compositions. The collection includes the famous "Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott" and melodies that influenced Swedish psalmbooks for centuries. These chorales blend Luther's original works with adapted medieval and Gregorian themes, establishing foundational music for Protestant worship
across generations. (This is an automatically generated summary.)
