"Valkoinen armeija Antrean rintamalla" by Aarne Sihvo is a historical account written in the early 20th century. The book chronicles the Finnish Civil War of 1918, particularly focusing on the experiences of the White Army in the Antrea front. It offers a glimpse into the struggles for Finnish independence, highlighting the dedication and sacrifices made by individuals involved in the conflict. The opening of the text serves as a preface, expressing gratitude
towards those who fought for Finland's independence against the Red forces, emphasizing the importance of lawful governance and the people's unity during the conflict. Sihvo reflects on the dire situation in Finland post-Russian imperialism and the role of various factions, including the socialists, in the turmoil leading to civil war.
