The International Magazine of Literature, Art, and Science was a monthly magazine which ran from 1850 to April 1852, covering five volumes. It was then absorbed by Harper's New Monthly Magazine.

It seems to have started out as a weekly, under the title International Weekly Miscellany of Literature, Science, and Art, but quickly changed to a monthly (the title for the bound volume 1 has the "International Monthly Magazine..." title, and covers "August to November 1850", while the first issues themselves in the set have the "International Weekly..." title and actually starts in July 1850). This also resulted in a slightly odd numbering; when changing to monthly, they seem to have treated all the July issues as "No. 1" and all the August issues as "No. 2", seeing as the first monthly issue is "No. 3".
