The Project Gutenberg Wiki will become a place full of useful information to the ebook community. You are invited to contribute.

Gutenberg Space

The Gutenberg: namespace (ie. all articles that start with "Gutenberg:") is editable by the Project Gutenberg Wiki Team only. This is the official Project Gutenberg web site.

Some pages with high visibility (like this one) are locked, so only users with sysops privilege can edit them.

Public Space

The rest of the wiki is open to you. Create an account and write some useful content for the ebook community!

Appropriate Content

• Book listings like Canadiana, Australiana, ...
• Book reviews,
• Technical reviews of: ebook reading devices, online services connected with ebooks,
• Your personal ebook success story (eg. teaching English in Africa with books downloaded from Project Gutenberg),
• Anything useful to the ebook community,
• Author biographies (but better still, put those on wikipedia)

Opinionated Content

Please put opinionated content, or any content you don't want mercilessly edited by everybody else, on your user page or on a sub-page of your user page. Don't edit somebody else's user page without their permission.

Inappropriate Content

• All advertising material,
• all copyrighted material,
• all illegal material.
• Your own book. Project Gutenberg is not the place to publish your unpublished work. If you want to offer us your already published book, see how to submit your own work.
• Anything with no or little use to the ebook community.

Inappropriate content will be deleted on sight at the discretion of our sysops.
